The Second Curve Philosophy

Life rarely unfolds in a straight line.

At Second Curve Psychology, I partner with individuals and organisations facing pivotal moments; whether grappling with burnout, disillusionment, navigating significant transitions, or simply questioning, "Is this truly all there is?"

Inspired by Charles Handy’s concept of the second curve, I see these moments not as setbacks but as critical turning points. They are opportunities to shed what no longer serves you and embrace a new phase brimming with meaning, energy, and purpose.

My work spans therapy, coaching, and facilitated workshops; each offering a space for reflection, clarity, and growth. Rooted in practical understanding and an anti-pathology philosophy, my approach sees people not as broken, but as evolving, adapting, and seeking alignment in their lives and work.

Across all settings, the intention is consistent: to support sustainable, authentic, and human growth. This may involve healing and insight through therapy, developing confidence and capacity through coaching, or helping teams reconnect with their values, purpose, and direction through collaborative workshops.

I also assist clients who are functioning, but stuck; those who sense a deeper shift occurring within themselves. Acknowledging the challenge of balancing individual needs with broader concerns, I offer a nurturing environment for introspection, finding purpose, and taking practical steps forward.

Working together

My approach is collaborative, human-centred, and grounded in honesty. I believe the most meaningful work happens when you feel heard, respected, and supported to bring your whole self into the process.

I draw on evidence-based methods, thoughtfully tailored to your context, goals, and values.

Therapy sessions are offered online, allowing you to connect from a space where you feel most comfortable and at ease.

Coaching and workshops are available online or in person, depending on your needs and location. Both formats provide the same depth, professionalism, and opportunity for genuine reflection and growth.
